Mary Winslow

Mary L. Winslow, 89, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Taylor House Hospice.

Mary was born January 16, 1926 in Missouri to Alvin and Ethel Butcher. She was the manager of Ewing Trace Mobile Home Park for many years. Mary was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Iowa Hawkeye fan. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her children, Donna (Bill) Carmichael, Mike (Cindy) Snider, Diane (Tim) Fazio, Doug (Angie) Winslow and Bobby Tonkinson; seven grandchildren, Carmen Patrick, Jennifer Bish, T.J. Fazio, Sami Stayner, Tyler Winslow, Chris Thompson and Heather Thompson; six great-grandchildren, Alex Fazio, Hudson Fazio, Riley Stayner, Hannah Patrick, Bella Kenzie and Beverly Kenzie; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Neva Hein, Noma Graham, Charles Butcher, Barbara Sims, Beverly Terry and Donald Butcher.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 12th at the funeral home followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
