Service Details
Carolyn Fine passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. She is survived by her children, Roletta (Michael) Fine-Hawk, Frankie Watson, and Talmadge (Sara) Keown; sisters, Ramona Campbell, Annette Canada, and Vanetta Crawford; five grandsons; her dear friend, Lynn Knutson; her cat, Babygirl and her dogs, Boukie and Petey; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Services will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 3322 E. 25th Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., funeral service at 12:00 p.m., with burial at Oralabor Cemetery.

I can start off my saying. I love you with all my heart you will be truly missed all your pain is gonna and you can rest now. I remember when I brought my boyfriend over to see you . And you told him to stop cussing I laughed and told him you don't play when I found out about your passing I broke down and demand to come home and see you I cried myself to sleep but I stop and thought your at peace now the whole Family will see you again ?

I truly don't know how to say this.....well to begin I love you with all my heart. I am really gonna miss my sexy Carol Ann. I remember the days that you made me eat cornflakes with powdered milk I swear as punishment when I had to go live with you in Omaha. I would give anything to have those days back along with the days of going to bingo with you mom and grandma. Man you would shut the bingo hall down and know what number every one needed. Long story short I just really miss you and know that we will see you soon.

I was heart broken to hear of the passing of Aunt Carol, she has always been sweet and kind to me, always calling me her Big Nephew, even before I married her niece Tameka, she always made me feel welcome and apart of the family, I will always miss your hugs and kisses. I pray that as a family we can honor the memory of you and come together as a strong family. Remember Aunt Carol's struggle is over and I am confident she is home with the Lord. 2 Corinthians5:8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord
