Haley Hols

Haley Marie Hols, 22, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 1, 2015.

Haley was born November 10, 1992 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jerry Hols, Jr. and Teresa (Vestal) Basham. She loved life and lived it to its fullest. She liked listening to music and enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking. She worked for Grandma Max’s in Altoona for many years and was recently employed by Buffalo Wild Wings on East 14th Street.

She is survived by her children, Conner and Sammijo; her mother and step-father, Teresa and Bob Basham; brothers, Jerry (Jade) Hols III, Christopher (Sami-Jo) Hols, and Max Basham; niece and nephews, Zophia, Jerry IV, and Noah; grandparents, Mary Tarter, Lorna Bauer, Linda Marshall, and Richard (Roxie) Cockerham; uncles and aunt, David Vestal, Clem Vestal, and Marian (Gene) Way; great-uncle, David Shelton; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

Haley was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Hols, Jr.; uncles, Jeffrey Vestal and Larry Dean Hols; grandparents, Mike Leach and Jerry Hols, Sr.; and great-grandma, Bessie Hols.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with funeral service at 1:00 pm, Friday, November 6, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
