Thomas Grant Powell was born on October 29th, 2015 at 5:03 p.m. and passed peacefully in his mother’s arms on October 30, 2015 at 2:28 p.m.

Thomas, the son of Randall Jr. and Sara (Jewell) Powell of Des Moines, is survived by his parents, two siblings Randall and Scarlett, his grandparents Randall and Kathleen (Pilcher) Powell, several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother Mina Trumper.

During his short life, Thomas reminded us to value each moment we are given and to celebrate each breathe we take. Thomas also gave the gift of life to others through organ donation.
