Ronald “Ron” V. Friedrickson, 78, passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2015. He was born November 1, 1936 in Bondurant to Virgil and Viola (Peterson) Friedrickson.
Ron was a second generation lifelong farmer in Bondurant. He was a member of the Federated Church of Bondurant, Lion’s Club, Polk County Farm Bureau, Bondurant Co-Op, Iowa Pork Producers Association and a trustee of the Skunk River Board.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon; children, Dana (Steve) Pinkley, Joel (Lisa) and Cris (Suzanne) Friedrickson; grandchildren, Meghan (Ryan), Grant (Allison), Alyssa, Lena, Michaela, Morgan, Mitchell, Jocelyn, Sheridan and Landon; great-grandchildren, Lanie and Grady; sisters, Marilyn Paine and Audrey Eshelman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Doug Eshelman.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Federated Church of Bondurant, 103 2nd St SW, Bondurant with visitation from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to go towards the church, Lion’s Club and UnityPoint Hospice

I had Ronnie in my Kindergarten class.Sunday School Federated church, Bondurant. He was a very nice little boy. Hello to Marilyn and Audrey---and so sorry you lost a great part of your wonderful family.Your Mother helped with my marriage reception at Federated 69 years ago Nov. 2nd. Loved her.

I am sorry for your loss. I had alot of respect for Ron. I helped him with his hogs one summer when I was in jr high. Kind and patient. My peer.
