Frank Green III

Frank Green III, 62, passed away on October 27, 2015, at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born in Des Moines on November 29, 1952, to Frank and Abbie Green.

Frank was united in marriage to Delores Piper on March 29, 1975. He was a very simple man. Frank enjoyed classic cars, watching sports, and reading.

Frank was giving in life, and after death, by participating in the Iowa Lion’s Eye Bank Program.

Frank is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dee; his daughters, Jessica (Dean) Armantrout, Jeanette (Tim) Harvey, and Leslie (Anthony) Williams; grandchildren, Alec Davis; Kayla, Katelyn and Alyssa Armantrout; Dominic and Brayden Williams; siblings, Bill (Diane) Green, Rick (Kristi) Green, and Marge (John) Sawerbrey; his mother, Abbie; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Green II, and his brother, Edward Green.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Frank.
