Khamning Be, 55, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, October 24, 2015.
Khamning was born August 2, 1960 in Vientiane, Laos. He is survived by his wife, Somsamay Be; children, Chiengkham (Ti) Long, Michael (Mary) Be, Joanna (Long) Hoang, Sarah (Adam) Klein, and Serena (Tanner) Halvorsen; grandchildren, Jayda and Brinley Long, Alexander Be, and Walter Klein; and siblings, Bang Tchong, Theuang Bethi, Khamleuang Saidara, Thinh Be, Souane Be-Johnson, and Oune Be.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Tuesday, October 27, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 6400 SW 9th Street. Khamning’s funeral service will begin at 3 pm, Wednesday October 28, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Cremation will follow the ceremony. His cremated remains will be interred in the Tai Dam section of Glendale Cemetery.

Kham sat right next to me at work, and we were on the same team for the last several years. He was always pleasant and relaxed. He was a good, solid professional / colleague to work with. He is and will be definitely missed. I genuinely pray for his family's peace and comfort.

Kham was one of Marsh's proudest and hardest working employees. He always had a smile on his face, was well respected and an inspiration to others. Kham was totally dedicated to his family and was very proud of their accomplishments. We have lost one of the really, really good ones. May his kind spirit bless us all, and may his family and friends find peace in their cherished memories.

I worked with Kham in Marsh. Even though I didn't work on his team, he seem like a very simple and sincere person. He was a very nice person and would smile and say hi when ever our paths crossed. I am so sad to hear this news and still in shock. I pray his family find peace and be comforted by the wonderful memories they have of him.
