Mildred German

Mildred L. German, 94, of Des Moines passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services on Tuesday. On September 5, 1936 Mildred was married to Ronald E. German. She was a homemaker and a member of the House of Praise Church in Indianola. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She is survived by her children Jerald “J.D.” (Peggy) German of Bedford, MO, Ronald G. (LaVonne) German of Kingman, AZ, David M. (Jackie) German of Mt. Pleasant, IA and Evelyn Tefferteller of Des Moines, her brother William Israel of Ypsilanti, MI, her sister Mary June Mosteller of Greeley, CO as well as 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and many great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her son Dennis (Becky) German Sr., her son-in-law George Tefferteller, her daughter-in-law Wanda German and her great, great grandchild Cadence Derby. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
