Gary Ray Sullivan, Jr.

Gary Ray Sullivan, Jr., 54, fought a courageous battle against cancer, and even though Gary passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015, he fought a good fight and threw the last punch.

Gary was born August 5, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid bow hunter. Gary was a talented artist, excelling at oil painting.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Kathy Sullivan; brothers, Patrick (Lynice) Sullivan, John Sullivan, and Jim Clark, Jr.; sisters, Brenda Ramirez, Sheila (Scott) VonStein, and Shannon Sullivan; son, Gary Ray Sullivan III; wife, Denise Sullivan; step-daughters, Danielle (Dave) Finney and Jenae (Tony) Finney; grandson, Andrew Lyons; and many other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Timmy Sullivan and his birth mother, Sandi Long.

According to Gary’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
