Patricia Ann Zeroni, 68 of Des Moines passed away at home on Thursday, October 22, 2015. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Melissa’s home, 2458 E. Porter Ave. in Des Moines.
Patricia was born on July 29, 1947 in Omaha, NE to Duane and Darlene Maynard. She lived most of her life in Des Moines. Patricia retired after many years of dedicated service from her supervisor position with the U.S. Post Office. She loved everyone – was sweet and loyal- and will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Patricia is survived by her mother, Darlene; children, Michael, Peter and Melissa; grandchildren, Stephanie, Elissa, Heather, John and Elijah; great-grandchildren, James and Anthony Anderson; sisters, Donna (Sam) Buscher, Marilyn (Larry) Deaver and Bonnie (Jim) Pratt; mother in-law, Irene Zeroni; sister in-law, Rosemary (Joe) McFadin; and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband John, her father, Duane and her father in-law, John Sr.

I remember the first time met her at Bob and Karen bar in the early eighties. She was fun and nice to be around at work or play. Our thoughts and prayers for her and her family

Pat was a customer of mine at Walgreens. She was very pleasant and always very nice. She will be greatly missed. RIP Pat you were an amazing peraon.

Pat was just a wonderful, joyful person to be around, as a friend, and later as a boss that was a pleasure to work for. She always had a smile on her face, and i am sure will be dearly missed. See ya on the other side Pat

I had the pleasure of working with Pat for many years as a clerk at the Main P.O. in Des Moines. She was a dear friend.
The psalmist writes in psalm 116: 15, "Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of His godly ones."
