Diane Lynn Casey, 69, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in Des Moines. She was born on November 23, 1945 in Des Moines.
Diane loved working in her yard and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a lady through and through and never left her home without being dressed as if she was going to the ball.
She is survived by her children, Michelle (John) Latcham and Bill (Tracy Robb) Casey; grandchildren, Tiffany, Todd, Brooke and Piper; great-grandchildren, Braeden, Mason and Wyatt; sister, Leona Fatino; and special friend, Tony Lorenzano.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., Des Moines, IA with visitation from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the funeral home.

To all of Diane's family members: I'm so sorry that Diane was taken from this world far too soon, but I'm so grateful for the special memories I will carry with me forever. She was a classy lady and a dear and wonderful friend to me for almost 50 years. I would love to share some of my fondest memories with you when we celebrate her life together. Never good-bye....until we meet again, my friend.

Michelle and Bill,
I am so sorry for the grief you are experiencing and I am sad about her leaving all of us. I have so many fun and wonderful memories of Diane from the past 47 years that I will always cherish. She truly was a great lady and one of a kind.
