Karen Medici

Karen Medici, 69, passed away peacefully Monday, October 19, 2015 at her home.

Karen was born February 27, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa to Andrew and Josephine George. She is survived by her sister, Gloria Newsom; brother, Darrell George; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, David Medici; husband, Gary Medici; her parents, Andrew and Josephine George; and her brothers, Andy, Denny, and Steve.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., with funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
