James Matherly

James Ray Matherly, 62, was born February 18, 1945 and passed away at his home Friday, October 19, 2007. Cremation has occurred and a private family gathering will occur at a later date. James is survived by his children, Cheri Holmes and Mike Matherly of Arkansas, and Kevin Matherly of Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Roger) Fitzgerald of Des Moines; niece, Michelle (Steve) Strawser of Des Moines; nephew, George (Brenda) Stish of Runnells; and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Vivian (Wenos) Matherly; and brothers, Alfred Phares and Ray Matherly. Hamilton’s Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
