When people talk about 'Southside Pride" I think about families like the Vacco's. Roscoe was my first football coach and that's when I met the family, because they were all involved. Please accept our sincere condolences to the entire Vacco family in your time of sorrow.

Ann Marie:
You and Rocco were always so warm and welcoming to us " non- Italian" parishioners at St. Anthony's. It was a pleasure knowing you two. Christ's peace to your family until you are joined together again.

A role model of dignity has left the Southside. Every time I drive by the Vacco home, memories of wonderful times fill me. Roscoe gave me my first coaching opportunity, a career path I chose . He truly was a great teacher of kids. He touched many lives with absolute love. Prayers to his family.
