Emmanuel Batahikamye

Emmanuel Batahikamye, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at his home under the care of Hospice.

Emmanuel was born January 1, 1944 in Burundi and moved to Des Moines in 2009. He was a farmer in Burundi.

Emmanuel is survived by his wife, Nibogora; nine children; six grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters; and a host of beloved friends.

Services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 412 Euclid Avenue, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 4400 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines.
