Service Details
Coy J. Patterson, 73, passed away peacefully at home on October 5, 2015. He was born on August 22, 1942 in St. Mary’s, Iowa to Coy and Jessie (Glover) Patterson, Sr.
Coy retired from the Air Force after 29 years. He was a war veteran serving in Desert Storm.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; son, Tim; daughters, Tina and Lisa; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Jessie; daughter, Kim; son, Corey Keith; 6 sisters; a half-sister and a half -brother.
Graveside services will take place at 9:30 AM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., Des Moines.
