Christopher Carl Beyerhelm

Christopher Carl Beyerhelm, 34, passed away September 29, 2015. Services will be held Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with a flowing reception and visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the memorial service at 12 noon. Chris will be cremated following the service.
Chris was born July 24, 1981 in Des Moines, IA to Chris and Barbara (Kesterson) Beyerhelm. He graduated from high school and then attended Ellsworth College where he played football. Chris was a licensed mason and worked in the construction industry as a mason and equipment operator. He enjoyed dog sledding, cooking, and most of all – he enjoyed being a husband and father.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Tammy Beyerhelm; daughters, Christine and Catherine Beyerhelm; foster daughters, Shelby and Shyenne Johnson; his parents, Chris and Barbara Beyerhelm; his sister, Laurie (Glenn) Lewis and their children; grandparents, Sarah Agnes Kesterson, and Carl and Beatrice Beyerhelm; granddaughter, Tanner O’Brian; and numerous other relatives.
