Dennis J. Newton, 61, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He was born April 4, 1954 to Willard and Beverly Newton.
Dennis had a passion for antiques and collecting family memorabilia. He loved surrounding himself around people whether it be watching NASCAR or outdoors boating with family and friends. Dennis was known to be quite a flirt and enjoyed cooking and taking food over to the nurses at the doctor’s office. He will be lovingly remembered for having a heart of gold, being an irreplaceable friend who has touched many lives with his generosity.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughters, Andrea (Aaron) and Julie; grandchildren, David, Justice, Katheryn, and Jayden; siblings, Connie and Rick; and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Doug and Vicky.
Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., with a 2 o’clock time of sharing on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Dennis.

Every time I look around our house I will think of Denny. All of our rooms were painted by him. We would have so much fun when he was here working. Dick knew Denny from childhood. Other than family, Dick new the Newton's for years. We are so very sorry for your loss. He was a great guy!!
