Robert E. "Bob" Baylor

Robert Baylor, 84, passed away on September 21, 2015, at the VA in Des Moines. He was born in Canton, Illinois on February 9, 1931.

Bob retired from the Air Force after 28 years of service and was a member of the Operative Masonic Lodge #308 in Polk City for many years.

Bob is survived by 6 children and 5 step-children, many grandchildren, extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa Baylor; second wife, Edith Baylor, and his brother, Jerry Baylor.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. A committal service with military honors will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2015, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Littleton, CO.
