Dean was such a kind soul. I always enjoyed talking to him. When I first "met" him at the Elks Lodge, he hadn't even heard my name yet and immediately asked me if I was a Ross. I was stunned as that is my mothers maiden name. He told me we used to ride the bus from Farrar when I was little. He was 8 grades ahead of me!!! That is a testament to the gentleman that he was.....Remembering a little school girl from the bus. He will always hold a special place in so many hearts including mine. My sincerest condolences to the Moreland family.

I will miss Dean's unique and dry sense of humor the most. Each time we saw each other, usually at our class reunions, I was assured a good conversation and lots of laughs. He will be missed and I am sorry for his loss, but he is with the Lord.
