When I think of dearest Uncle Bob, my brain is flooded with memories, and not one of them is bad: all the fun camping trips, the Canadian wilderness trips with the church groups, the countless family gatherings, watching home movies ("reruns") or slide shows, sail boat rides (and being so relieved he hadn't drowned after the boat turned "turtle" and he didn't surface right away, instead going underneath in an air pocket to secure things so they wouldn't sink to the bottom of the lake), and more. But the most prominent memory is getting a hug, and hearing (with his Texas drawl) "well hi, darlin'!", and feeling the warmth and love that he always conveyed. I loved how sensitive and sentimental he was, and how he wasn't ashamed if he would tear up. The world was a better place because he was here, and I am so lucky to have him for my uncle!

Growing up in Des Moines, Iowa, I had the shear joy of knowing Bob Jennings as he was a dear friend of my father, Wayne McGinnis. Bob and my Dad worked over 30 years together at Armstrong Tire and Rubber Company. Not only were they co-workers together but they both had a deep passion for flying model airplanes. I have fond memories of Sunday afternoons spent in the field where K-Mart was later built watching Bob and my Dad fly their model airplanes standing back to back chasing each other with streamers on the back of their planes. Bob had the most kindest, calming spirit of any man I have ever known. When he attended my father's funeral I was comforted by the love and caring he had for my father which shown throughout his eyes and spirit. I am thankful for his deep friendship with my father for so many years. God has a new angel in Heaven!

Bob worked with our father for 35 years at Armstrong. Our parents were close friends with Bob & Evelyn. They came to both of our parents funerals many years ago. I had the honor of hugging Bob at Evelyn's funeral and he remembered me, then he hugged me even tighter when we talked about my dad!
He will be missed! Awesome man!
Hugs to you Judy & family.

I count myself blessed to have been a friend of Bob... Among other things, we shared a love of flying model airplanes for several years. Bob was not the best pilot, but I always said that what Bobby lacked in flying skills, he more than made up for in his enthusiasm for the hobby and his love for his friends he chose to spend time with. Happy landings, Bob!

When I think of Uncle Bob I think of love and generosity. He exemplified Christian love and affection for everyone. We will always remember the family dinners and times spent together. Though we will miss you, we know you are dancing with the angels and Aunt Evelyn.

Uncle Bob was the best uncle in the world, a loving Christian role model, and a fun, interesting guy. When he faced opportunities to choose bigotry or self-righteousness, he responded with kindness, open arms, and his characteristic good-hearted smile. All of us who shared his life will remember him with love and be thankful for our time together.

Adas "Bob" Jennings
will be dearly missed.
Great Uncle Bob was the most loving/kindest man I ever knew.
I always said that if anyone was to make it to Heaven it would be Great Uncle Bob. I have a lot of great memories from flying model airplanes, racing track cars in the basement, watching slide shows, helping with the flea market, adding a new addition to his house, and the simple things like eating fresh vegetables out of his garden. I love and miss you Great Uncle Bob.
