Service Details
Roseanne Upton, 77, passed away at her home Friday, September 18, 2015. She was born September 14, 1938 in Des Moines to William and Elma (Feruglio) DeBiaggio. Roseanne graduated from Simpson College. She loved reading, gardening, knitting, and writing children’s books.
Roseanne is survived by her husband of 53 years, Buddy; son, Scott (Melissa) Upton; granddaughters, Makenna and Rachel; and a host of beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Vernon DeBiaggio.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Buddy and Scott, We were shocked and very saddened to learn of Roseanne's death. Naturally, we would love to be in touch with you. Hope you both, as well as Melissa and the girls, are doing as well as can be expected. One thing for sure, she loved you all dearly.

Very sorry to hear of this. I was a classmate of Roseanne's in Indianola, and remember her as one of the nicest girls in my class, and always a good friend. I was looking forward to seeing her again at our 60th reunion next year. My condolences for your loss.
