Richard G. Durham, 63, passed away on September 15, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born on February 20, 1952 in Alabama to Billy and Sarah (Johnson) Durham.
Richard retired from John Deere in 2001 after 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Beth; son, Ronnie (Makenzie) Durham; grandson, Bentley James Durham; mother, Sarah Durham; sisters, Deborah (Buster) Durham and Reneé (Chris) Palmer; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Connie NeSmith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW, Altoona with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
