To Mary, and the Huston family, I am so sorry to hear about Cindi. Theres a poem I love called the Parable of Immortality that talks about watching a ship disappearing over the horizon, and as it disappears, there are others who can see it coming into view and are welcoming it. I'm so sorry that Cindi is no longer with you, and I hope she's now is a place where she has been welcomed with love. For all Cindis family and friends who love and miss her, I wish for you peace and strength as youre coping with your loss. Im thinking of you.

Cindy taught me to make fried balongna sandwiches and shared with me her complete library of Charles Schultz. I spent some of the happiest Friday nights of my young life in that little brown house reading Charlie Brown to her Lucy. She was smart and brave and devastatingly witty. I have remembered her fondly many times over these years we have been out of touch and I am heartbroken that I missed the chance to say good bye. My love and condolences to Mary, Ida and Ron.
