Service Details
William R. Green, died October 18, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. in Des Moines. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
William was born September 30, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles and Betty Green, Sr. He worked as a Sheet Metal Worker for 34 years until he retired in 2001.
William is survived by his children: Lisa Howard, Denise Morgan and Kenny Brown; his brothers, Charles and James, his sister Lynda; 9 grandchildren; and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 prior to the funeral at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of William.

Chick, Jim and Lynda,
To all of you and to Bill's children we send our sympathy and prayers. I remember Bill as such a fun and funny guy I know he will be missed. I didn't know that Bill was in Iowa and feel bad that I never got to see him. Please pass our sympathy on to his children and all of the family.
