Hon Cam

Hon Cam passed away at home on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 10:20 p.m. Services will be held on Sunday, September 13th at 4:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.

Hon was born on June 16, 1939, in Bon Bia, Muong Muai, SonLa,Vietnam. Hon and her family moved to Des Moines, Iowa in 1975. She worked for National Hand Craft for many years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and cooking large meals for her family. Hon also loved tending to her vegetable garden
.
Hon was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother. She is survived by her daughter, Bing and son, Boun. Hon also has two grandchildren, Samantha and Madina, 7 siblings and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
