Ronald Dean Forquer, Sr.

Ronald Dean Forquer, Sr., 68, passed away on September 5, 2015 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. He was born January 8, 1947 in Quincy, IL to Leo and Audrey (Gooding) Forquer.

Ronald retired from the armed services after a total of 22 years. He faithfully served in the Army, Air Force and National Guard. Following his retirement, he drove a truck for over 27 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra M.; sons, Ronald D. (AnnMarie) Forquer, Jr. and David R. Shelley; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at Van Meter.
