To one of the greatest guys a gal could ever know-you always made me smile even when the world was falling apart around me. Save me a spot where you go next, we'll see each other again someday. I'll miss you deeply, you'll be forever in my heart. With love, Christina

Dick, We will certainly miss you. You always had a smile or a joke (usually naughty one). When ever you spoke of your family, you just lit up. Keep an eye on 'em.

Uncle Dick was such a sweet man. He could make you laugh. He loved to tell stories some of them were funny but you could always learn something from him. He will surely be missed! We love you all thinking and praying for the family.

I always enjoyed joking around with Dick at the auction in Mitchellville. He was always trying to coax my dog away from me so he could take her home with him! One of my last and favorite memories was him buying cookbooks for his granddaughter who he said is in culinary school. He was showing them to me and hoped she would like them. He will be missed. Keeping the family in our prayers. Linda Bishop and Robie Heathcote

I had a great time meeting Dick a few times at the shop in Des Moines - he was very funny and it was awesome shopping and talking with him. I know he will be missed by many.
I also know how difficult it is to lose a parent and I will pray for the family to find peace and comfort at this difficult time.
