Nancy Ruth Dove, 80, died Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Fountain West Health Center in West Des Moines, Iowa. She was born January 1, 1935 in El Paso, Texas the daughter of Jackson and Annie (Lambert) Dove.

Nancy loved animals and worked many years as a pet groomer. Nancy was also a musician, singer and loved to entertain people.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Simpson; sister, Sharon Coffin; brother, Robert Dove; Grandchildren, Ilana Sheley, Kaitlynn Neu and Bret Tyler; and six grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lisa Dove and brother Jack Dove.

A celebration of life service will be held in the near future. Nancy’s family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at Fountain West Heritage Court Nursing Facility and especially to Lacey miller.
