Earl Ray Nickerson passed away on Friday August 7th, 2015 at the age of 51.
Earl was born on December 12, 1963 to Henry and Rozella Nickerson in Des Moines, Iowa.

Earl attended Tech High School. Earl worked for many years for Peterson Construction, drove for Yellow Cab and recently was Self Employed. Earl loved fishing and WWE wrestling.

Earl is survived by two sons. Nicholas Ray Nickerson 32, and Earl Ray Nickerson Jr., 26. One Grandson Broadwick Nickerson. Sisters Karen Aldini, Linda Salinas, Deborah Ewurs (Ron), Peggy Guillot (John). Brothers Bobby Ewurs, Charles Ewurs, David Montano (Loreta), Dale Montano, Carlos Montano (Sue), Michael Montano. Earl had multiple nieces and nephews.

I know Earl would like me to mention our dear friend Joe Stewart. Thank you Joe for always being a part of our lives for all these years.

I also want to thank Iowa Donor Network for reaching out at such a difficult time and showing me how to make sure our brother lives on more than in our memories and hearts.

Earl is preceded in death by his father Henry Nickerson, Mother Rozella Ewurs, Grandfather Ray, Grandmother Lucille, Grandfather Joseph, Grandmother Cleo, Brothers Eric Ewurs and Clarence Ewurs.

Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date in Earl’s honor.
