What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not know why Rod left this earth so soon, or why he left before we were ready to say good bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived. Rod gave us memories too beautiful to ever forget. To Rod's family may loving memories bring you peace, comfort and strength.

Rod approached me in a meeting when I was a new employee at Nationwide and made me feel welcome. He was a great guy who was cheerful and always smiling. I'm very sorry for your loss.
