Thomas “Tommy” Lafferty
Des Moines
Tommy Lafferty, 59, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. He was born February 2, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Tom and Kathy Lafferty. He worked his entire life as a roofer and was very proud of his American Indian heritage. Tommy was a wonderful father and grandfather and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his son, T.J. Lafferty; daughter, Jessica Haines; stepsons, Mark Springer, David Bresley, and Buck Moyer; numerous grandchildren; wife, Priscilla Lafferty; and siblings, Theresa, Bob, and John Lafferty. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

Priscilla, I am so sorry for your loss. Loosing Danny has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through. Hopefully your memories will bring you comfort. May God bless all of you.
