Jerry Eugene Van Gundy
Des Moines
Jerry E. Van Gundy, 56, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born September 11, 1958 to Clarence and Wilma in Des Moines, Iowa.
Jerry was an East High graduate and served in the United States Navy. He most recently worked for Baker Group. Jerry loved his Harley and enjoyed watching baseball and East High girls softball team.
He is survived by his mother, Wilma Van Gundy; siblings, Sue Richards and Rob Van Gundy; nieces, Heather Richards, Amanda Gilbertson, and Raini Van Gundy; nephew, Robby Van Gundy; and great-nephew, Max Richards.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Van Gundy.
Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Jerry.

SO SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF A DEAR FRIEND FOR MANY MANY YEARS.. I REMEMBER HIM AT A PARTY EVERYONE PASSED OUT INCLUDINING JERRY,, WE RAN OUT OF SHAVING CREAM WHEN WE GOT TO JERRY SO WE BROKE OUT THE MUSTARD...
