Paul Reed Bennett, 67, was born May 18, 1948 in Leon, Iowa, the son of Paul William and Wyola (Buchanan) Bennett. He passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at Bright Kavanagh House.
Paul is survived by his wife of many years, Mary Belieu; children, Paul C. (Kelley) Bennett and Amber Bailey; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Trent Bennett and his parents, Paul W. and Wyola Bennett.
Visitation will be from 11-12 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW with funeral services to follow. Burial will be at Avon Cemetery.

Mare, Paul is no longer suffering. He was a big man with a big heart and he loved you. He left this world too soon. In the end, depended on you for his care and companionship. Your dedication to Paul and his wishes are a true sign of the love you have for him. You were his rock when he needed you the most. Rest in Peace Paul.
