Theodore "Ted" Frith Jr.

Theodore "Ted" Lonzo Frith, Jr., 65, passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Kavanagh on 56th. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Theordore was born October 28, 1941 to Theodore and Celia Frith, Sr. in Des Moines, Iowa. The fifth child of 8, being the first son. Theodore was educated and graduated from Valley High School, he also took correspondence classes in Art which he excelled in. He enlisted into the Air Force in 1959-1975 with a tour of duty in the Vietnam War. Ted worked in transportation; he also worked in various factories jobs. He was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. He enjoyed sports, fishing and drawing.
Theodore is survived and lovingly remembered by his children, Chrisandra, Adrian, Alonzo, Tiana and James Frith; mother, Celia Frith; sisters, Gloria Elliott and Bernetta Foy; brothers, Harry and Reggie Frith; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, 2 sisters, 1 brother and a son Ted III.
