Kim M. Jones, 54, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born September 4, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa to Norman and Shirley Renes. Kim worked for Vital Records for the State of Iowa for over 20 years.
Kim is survived by her husband, Mike Jones; son, Jon (Amanda) Jones; daughter, Ashley Jones; and her grandchildren, Natali and Haydin.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., with funeral service at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

I remember being Cousins. Hanging out at grandmas. Trying to show her how to drive. Then families break apart. I was just told today about kim and my heart is broke. krep her alive in your hearts and remember family is first.

Mike, Jon, Ashley, My heart pour's out to you. I remember the first time I met Kim. I remember George and I getting the two of you together. And Jon and Ashley being born, Your mom was a very special lady, And a great friend. She will be dearly missed. My prayer's are with you.

I am sincerly sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. Kim was a co-worker of mine, we would share many things and laugh and even cry sometimes. I miss her already. Please try to stay strong to keep the memories alive in your heart. She maybe gone but she will never be forgotten. i loved her also. Keep her alive in your heart. She is with God now.
