Jerry D. Talley, 86, passed away July 6, 2015 at Westview Care Center in Indianola. He was born August 15, 1928.
Jerry is survived by his children, Brad (Tracy), Kara (David) and Kim (Vinnie); son-in-law, Lane; grandchildren, Larissa, Stephanee, Stevie, Jordan and Andrew; siblings, Patty and Richard; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly; and daughters, Kyle and Karin.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

i am so sorry for your loss. I have known him all my life and him and Bev were like 2nd parents to me. He always brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.

Kara, your dad was one of the funniest men I have had the pleasure of knowing! He was always the best part of my trips to Des Moines, with my Mother. He would pick us up in a different beautiful car, and tell us stories all the way to the house. I am so glad you got to spend time with him these last Months.
