Kent Albaugh

Kent Marshall Albaugh, 60, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Kent was born on August 17, 1954 in Des Moines to Northa (Noone) and John Albaugh.
Kent served proudly in the U.S. Army. Kent was loved by everyone that knew him. He was a very generous, loving person who always put others ahead of himself. Kent lived his life always doing for his family, who meant everything to him. He treasured his time with his family – especially playing catch with his grandson.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 35 years, Pam; sons, Nathan and Eric; grandson, Peyton; father, John (Debbie); step-mother, Lu; brothers, Robert, Jay and Terry; sister, Kristi Wood; several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Northa, brother, Johnny and his mother in-law, Mary.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8 at the funeral home.

Was your Kent Albaugh at Fort Leonard Wood , Missouri in 1972/1973 for basic training? If so I was his buddy in barracks.
