Kenneth Lukenbill, 57, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
Kenneth was born April 22, 1958 in Des Moines to Marvin and Bessie Lukenbill. He was baptized at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and remained a lifelong member. Kenneth graduated from Lincoln High School. He was a material handler at CDS for over 25 years. He was a member of a model car club, enjoyed biking and watching NASCAR. He also enjoyed football and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Cindy; children, Daniel Lukenbill, Amy Doyle, Bobby Doyle, Dustin Hanus and Kimberly Lukenbill; grandson, Wyatte Hanus; brother, Larry (Charleen) Lukenbill; sister, JoAnn (Russ) Pollock; and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Chuck and Keith Lukenbill; and his daughter, Bonnie Mae Lukenbill.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 3820 SW 9th Street. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

We were sorry to hear of Kens death. We met at the Hawkeye motel and became fast friends. He was a good and kind and man who never forgot who his friends were. He was your friend in good or bad times. He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Lukenbill was a generous and kind man who loved his daughter Kimberly dearly. I was blessed to have him enroll Kimberly in my dance school for many years. My deepest sympathy goes out to Cindy and Kimberly, and all the family.
