Marjory Lucielle Egger was born October 13, 1938 in Chariton, Iowa to Robert S. and Ruby L. Jagger. She passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at the age of 76. Marge married Gilbert H. Egger on July 17, 1958. She was a member of First Federated Church, Immanuel S.S. Class, Christian Women’s Club, and After Five Club. She formerly worked as a realtor in Indianola and as Office Manager with Des Moines Public Schools.
Marge is survived by her son, Matthew (Jennifer) Egger; daughter, Melissa (Chris) Furne; brother, Fred (Jan) Jagger; and grandchildren, Taylor, Reily, Jackson, Grant, Wyatt, and Grace. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gilbert H. Egger.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at First Federated Church, 4801 Franklin Avenue, Des Moines. A private family burial will take place at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.

I had the privilege of working with Marge at Findley Elementary School. She was a blessing to all staff and all the children. Her light of love was shining every day! Her light will remain forever in my heart and in the hearts of many more!

I am so very sorry to hear of Margie's passing. My mother, Mary, will miss her terribly as they were cousins and very good friends from an early age. I really have no words to console her loved ones at this time other than we know that she was loved during her time here on Earth and love is really the most important thing we share in our all to brief lives.
