C. Ruth McIntyre

C. Ruth McIntyre, of Des Moines, passed away on June 22, 2015. She was 83. She was born in Hamilton, Iowa to James A. and Orpha Hall. She is survived by her son, Danny and his wife Carol; granddaughter, Mary; and sisters, Frances Solinger and Margie Hall. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Keith, and Paul; and sisters, Lorraine, Lois, and Gail.

Ruth was retired. Previously, she worked as a dietician and cook. She was a member of St. Ambrose Parish. She was an original resident of Elsie Mason Manor and lived there 33 years before moving to University Park Nursing Home.

Visitation will be at St. Ambrose Cathedral at 9:00 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2015, with a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be at Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Iowa at 1:30pm.
