Lambert L. (Lucky) Weyer Jr. passed away October 9, 2007 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Saturday at Christ The King Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm Friday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home where a vigil service will be held at 7pm.
Lucky was born April 15, 1944 in Sioux Falls, SD to Lambert (L.J.) and Phyllis Weyer.
He was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church . Lucky retried from Local 347 I.B.E.W. He was an avid golfer, bowler and fisherman.
Lucky is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol Jean, and is the proud father of three children, Jamie (Betty) Weyer, Rita (Mike) Holtz and Christopher (Becky) Weyer.; his sister, Janeeda (Melvin) Long; brothers Scott (Diane) Weyer and Rick (Melody) Weyer; his grandchildren, Michael, David, Tommy, Michelle, Jessica, Sarah, Trinity and Alyssia and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Parish for the benefit of the Children.

Lucky has always been in my thoughts. Everytime my husband Steve and I would talk about the "Lake" we would always talk about Carol and Lucky. He was very much loved and will always be in my heart.

For many years Lucky made sure that all the electrical needs and problems at Hamilton's were attended to and solved. Early on, we came to call him "our electrician" because he always seemed to treat us in a special way.
I think what we really want your family to remember is that we at Hamilton's appreciated his work excellence; but more than that, we appreciated his personal friendship. We will always remember and respect Lucky as a person, as a professional, and as our friend.
