Olive Kruger

Olive Edna (Morton) Kruger passed away quietly in a nursing home in Altoona on November 23, 2006 at age 92. Graveside services will be at 1pm Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Glendale Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home from 10:30-12:30pm prior to the service.
She was born in Rochester, Iowa to Oliver Perry Morton and Edna Myrtle Morton. She died after a long illness.
When Olive was four, she moved to a farm near Murdo, South Dakota; lived there until 1939, then moved back to Iowa. She worked in the ordnance plant in Ankeny and Fitch Shampoo in Des Moines.
Olive is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Warren Kruger of Altoona, and her son, Ronald (Lois) Kruger of East Brunswick, New Jersey. She goes to join her parents, her sister and baby brother.
