Ron Music, 77, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, TX. Ron was born January 4, 1938 in Des Moines to Peter and Marjorie Music. He served in the United States Army. He was plant manager at ADM for many years and retired from Iowa Methodist Hospital maintenance department. Ron enjoyed camping, traveling, and fishing both in the Raccoon River in Adel and at his Texas home in Port Isabel.

Ron is survived by his sons, Kirby Music, Zachary Marsell, and Ryan Marsell; daughters, Leah (Joseph) Fletcher and Amanda Marsell; sister, Bonnie (Jack) Michaels; and his grandchildren, Sebastian, Ayden, Vivian, Tristan, Kendra, and Elliott. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sheryl Marsell-Music; and his furry companion, Tiny.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, also at Hamilton’s.
