Donna Greene

Donna Greene, 76, of Des Moines died on October 8, 2007 at the Fleur Heights Care Center. She has been cremated and memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial of the cremains at Elm Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Donna graduated from North High School, had worked as a salesperson at Tursi’s and previously had worked at Younkers. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and TOPS. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Linda (Bill) Horton of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, Connie (Denny) Huston of San Antonio, Texas, Steven Greene of Garland Texas, Christine Howell of Des Moines and Janie (Jay) Nevins of Des Moines as well as nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents Thomas and Lois Beeson and her sister Betty Peddicord and her husband Bart.
