Otto K. McGilvrey

Otto K. McGilvery, 88, passed away June 3, 2015. His body was donated to Des Moines University, a symbol of his love of science and his desire to contribute to it.

He will be greatly missed by the family that he always said was the most important thing in his life. His wife of nearly 68 years, Patricia; children, Susan (James Freeman) McGilvrey, Dawn (Jim) Kirkman, Mary (John) Smith, Nancy Allen, and Ruth (Steve) Kros; 6 grandchildren; and 3 siblings.
