Barbara Greenlee

Barbara Ruth Greenlee, 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Ramsey Village. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Altoona United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Barbara was born March 20, 1925 in Koshkonong, Missouri, the youngest of seven children to Arthur and Severie (Burrets) Parker. She retired from Super Valu Regional Offices in Urbandale after many years of service. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren, which brought her so much happiness.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Scott (Janet) Glass of Altoona, Ron Glass of Scottsdale, Arizona and Tom (Jan) Glass of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her brother, Edwin Parker of Santa Ana, California and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Greenlee; her granddaughter, Emily Glass and her parents.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2007 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Altoona United Methodist Church Children’s Program in loving memory of Barbara.
