Brenda Hettinger

Brenda Marie Hettinger, 40, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Brenda was born December 1, 1966. She loved spending time with her family; and she enjoyed reading, bike riding, going to the beach and the park, rollercoaster’s, cats, and movies.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Buxenstein; sons, Raymond Scott Buxenstein and Matthew Alan Buxenstein; sisters, Catherine Lynn Hettinger, Dawna Elizabeth Kokosinski, Kristen A. Swartz, Gretchen April Walter, Stephanie Hettinger, and Carla Hettinger; brothers, Steven Wayne Walter and Douglas Alan Walter; her mother, Elsie and father, Rick, as well as many other extended family members.
Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Visitation will be held 3-6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League.

We met on the airplane from Baltimore to Des Moines. Just wanted you to know how sorry I was to hear about your sister. I'm sure she felt your presence and it gave her comfort. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
