Margret McGregor

Margaret Lucille McGregor, 82, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 7, 2007. She was born July 23, 1925 to George and Clara Hess in Des Moines, Iowa.
Survivors, include her 7 sons, Mick Carder, Larry Carder, Ricky Thompson, John McGregor, Bob McGregor, Timothy McGregor, Scott McGregor, her 6 daughters, Ginger Reynolds, Annette Graves, Sherry McGregor, Donna Kittrell, Jody Smith and Lana Ford, 36 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, her brother, Lewis Hess, sisters, Vivian Cardines, Shirley Andrews, Bonnie Jones, Vonnie Zenor, Beverly Murphy and Ersie Driscoll. Preceding her in death are her husbands, Bernard Carder and Tom McGregor, her children: Cindy McGregor, Tom McGregor and Carol Carpenter and her siblings, Bill Hess, Bud Hess, Helen Hess, Girtrude Rowe, Johnny Hess and Connie Hess.
Visitation with the family present will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Heartland Assembly of God, 1212 NW 36th Street in Ankeny, Iowa. Burial will follow at the Ankeny Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
