Please accept our heartfelt condolences for Liz's passing. She was our high-school class-mate and will be remembered fondly. I (Penney) especially remember her french horn playing, being in choir and volleyball with me. We had the pleasure of seeing her again at our 20th class reunion and witnessed her joy at being engaged to Shane. We will miss her at our 25th re-union, next year. Sincerely, Randy and Penney Braaksma

Liz was my mentor and friend when I started at PFG 10 yrs ago. We laughed together as we shared the same kind of humor! I relocated to NE but we kept in touch and then I returned to PFG in the OMA office so our contact was more frequent. We shared Grinch product stories plus Sir Sidney and Mitzi funnies. Creating the patio and riding a 4 wheeler and the shed on the "land". Always discussing her new cars and teasing her about hitting that tree in her driveway of her first house!
I have heard of you all many times. You all are so important to Liz.
Shane, I wish she had more time with you because she was truly happy and exhibited that every time I talked to her. Take care of her beloved Sidney.
I will miss her laughter, her wonderful human qualities that I admired, her long hands and fingers and her.

Shane - so very sorry to hear that Liz passed away. When I worked at Principal, I looked forward to working with Liz on a project. She brought so many good things to the table; sense of humor, a smile, and a tremendous amount of knowledge. And she was able to share her knowledge to the depth needed by the audience; she was great with new people as well as people who had been there a while.
Please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest family and friends of Liz,
I was saddened by the news of the sudden passing of our dear friend and classmate. We may never know when our time on earth is over but we need to try to live our lives like it may be tomorrow. I remember Liz's smiles and laughter! Playing basketball with her in jr. high was quite an adventure - she was always the tallest and I was the shortest!! She was a great person and I am honored to have known her! To her family, I pray that God will give you peace to know that Liz is with our Father in heaven. God bless you and your family.

Shane, we are so sorry to hear about Liz - we could not believe it. Nick's mother passed away on Friday as well - so I don't know if we will be able to attend Liz's funeral. We are meeting with the funeral home today. Even if we can't be there for the visitation/funeral - you know we are there with you in our thoughts & prayers. We love you both! Nick & Beth Adams.

Shane and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your wife. I met Liz when I worked at
Principal in the cafeteria(Corpprate 4 or the Zee Building).
She was a special person who always greeted me with a smile and
we would tease each other about our Nascar drivers. I remembered
when she became engaged and then when you decided to get married I teased
her about getting married on my birthday and she said sorry invitations
have already been mailed. We laughed and I said that I was happy
for both of you. Please accept my condolences and she will be missed
by all who knew and loved her.

It is with such fondness that we remember our sweet niece Liz.
She always had a smile on her face...and brought happiness to all those around her.
